Diane Grant is a dedicated and accomplished Tax Director at Marshall Jones, contributing 38 years of expertise in accounting. With a fervent passion for excellence and innovation, she has played a pivotal role in Marshall Jones’ success since joining the team in 2018.
Diane holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Mercer University and has garnered valuable experience at industry leaders such as Dun & Bradstreet and S&P America. At S&P America, she ascended to the position of VP of US Field Finance, showcasing her exceptional skills and dedication to her work. Diane is a recipient of numerous awards recognizing her outstanding and top-notch performance at her previous companies.
As the Tax Director at Marshall Jones, Diane is a key player with a keen eye for detail. Since 2018, she has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success, handling crucial responsibilities in the realm of taxation. Diane’s dedication to excellence and innovation ensures she plays a vital role in the financial success of the company.

Proudly rooted in the community of Jacksonville, Florida, Diane cherishes spending quality time with her husband and sons. Alexander joined Marshall Jones in 2024 with over 20 years of tax experience in public accounting (including Big Four and regional firms) and the industry. Alexander has a wealth of knowledge of Subchapter K (partnership tax) and work experience with partnerships in real estate, private equity, hedge fund, financial services, and healthcare industries, to name a few. He also has many years of in-depth compliance experience with tax-exempt organizations of all sizes and levels of complexity. He is excellent with streamlining processes and procedures, including tax compliance processes for larger, more involved clients. He is often brought in to understand complex tax issues and help find solutions for them, do tax research, and explain tax and accounting matters in a way that is accessible to anyone.
Alexander graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, with a summa cum laude degree in business administration and mathematics and completed his six-year graduate studies at American University’s Kogod School of Business in Washington D.C., with a summa cum laude Master of Science in Taxation degree in 2012. He has been a certified public accountant since 2004.
Alexander is committed to his ongoing personal training and development and regularly takes communication, leadership, and other personal training courses and seminars. He is a student of philosophy, history, and art. Alexander is an eclectic and well-rounded reader, lover of classical music, art, and antique clocks. He has travelled extensively around the world and has visited or lived in over 30 countries. Alexander exercises on a regular basis and is currently learning how to play a new musical instrument – a five row (chromatic) button accordion.

Susan graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 1981 and received her CPA certification in 1984. She began her career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen. Over the course of her career, she has worked in both public accounting and private industry. She has extensive audit experience and hands on experience in industry as an Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller. Susan has been in public accounting since 2006 and a member of the Marshall Jones team since 2010. She has a wide range of experience with individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profits in the areas of tax planning, tax strategy, tax return preparation, and IRS support. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children along with decorating her home and watching classic movies.
